About Us

We are a community seeking group of people based in Salt Lake City, UT in the beginning phases of creating and intentional community or cohousing community. At this time, we're actively gathering information on what is possible in the state of Utah, gathering potential members and searching for a plot of land to buy.

Our vision is to find an additional 3-6 aligned people to join us as founders. At the present moment, our vision is for a community located in the rocky mountains, close to nature, with 12-25 homes. There would be a focus on our individual passions, which include deepening our connection to nature, honoring the natural cycles of the Earth, movement of the physical body, deepening of individual spiritual practices, weekly community meals and other gatherings, producing our own food via permaculture practices (gardening, keeping animals, fermentation, baking, etc. with a long term goal of offsetting our consumption of store bought food by 50%). We are always adding to this list, so please reach out and share with us what you are passionate about. YOU are what our community is missing!

We envision building a community based on a few guiding principals.
• Sustainability - From our build renewable energy, having a beautiful permaculture garden and farm
• Community - Everyone wants community and to belong. We will cultivate experiences ane events, weekly dinners, and outside the community activities in nature to foster that community belonging.
• Inclusivity - We will be inclusive of people with all abilities. We want to welcome all that individuals are and what they can contribute to a community to the best of their abilities. We welcome people of any ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation and gender identity.
• Playfulness and creativity - Playfulness isn't just for the kids, we want to encourage the adults to play as much as our children, to create and build an ejoyable life. We aren't passive humans, we are doers and living life with all that it has to offer. 

At this time we are looking for other people who are interested in building a community in Utah. These founding members will help flesh out the plans.
